2023 Auditions for the Oak Grove Theater Summer Season

Auditions – Five Shows – Two Audition Days

When: April 1-2, 2023  2-5 p.m. each day and you don’t have to stay the whole time.
Where: Mary Baldwin University in the Fletcher Collins Theater 301 Deming Drive Bottom Floor
  • Casting is for all five shows scheduled for the upcoming Summer Season including four plays and one musical production.
  • Those interested in auditioning for both the plays and the musical should audition both days.
  • Musical auditions are separated from the plays.
  • You will be auditioning Director selected pieces from the shows.
  • There will be time for you to practice selections and to join up with other folks for those selections (We have helpers to help you find audition partners and get in the queue).
Don’t worry, we’ve been doing this for 70 years so we’ll make it as painless as possible.
 
  • If you are unable to attend auditions but are still interested, message us on Facebook and we’ll get you in touch with the director of the various productions.
  • If you just want to be backstage then contact us on our Facebook or stop by and say hello at auditions and fill out a sheet.
  • Two weeks prior to auditions you can check the Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro library for scripts. Unfortunately the musical will not be at any of the libraries.
