2027 Grove Season Call for Directors
Published
Stories come to life each summer at Oak Grove Theater. Magic under the stars.
Calling all Directors!
Use the link near the bottom of this page to submit Your proposal!
Deadline to submit is December 1st, 2026
We’ve taken our quick break following the 2026 season and we’re now ready to talk about 2027! Next year is our 74th season and we need comedies, farces, dramas, dramedies, musicals, etc. When contemplating what you’re going to submit, keep in mind our beautiful Grove and ask yourself, will this show be magic outdoors, under the stars?
Make sure to let us know what show time slot for which you are NOT available. When planning a season, the board chooses what show is best in what slot and how shows fit together. For example, it’s best to open the season with a fast-paced comedy.
1st Show: May 27 – June 2, 2027
2nd Show: June 17-23, 2027
3rd Show: July 8-14, 2027
4th Show: July 29 – August 4, 2027
5th Show: August 19-25, 2027
Want to know what we’ve done before? Check out our history to see past seasons. While we do repeat shows, it’s best not to repeat too close together.
