When the world stood still on 9/11, something extraordinary happened in a small Canadian town. Come From Away tells the true story of 38 diverted flights carrying nearly 7,000 stranded passengers who suddenly found themselves in Gander, Newfoundland .
In the face of fear, uncertainty, and global crisis, the people of Gander opened their doors, their hearts, and offered food, shelter, music, and community to travelers from around the world. Their compassion reminds us that even in the darkest moments, humanity shines brightest.
