Join us for our next play reading, CHARLOTTE’S LETTERS by Jennifer O’Grady, directed by Justin Guidroz and hosted by Morgan Smith in the Dr. John Chiles Activity Room, Irene Givens Administration Building, Montgomery Hall Park, 1000 Montgomery Ave, Staunton VA.

A fresh, theatrical take on the Brontë sisters, intertwining Charlotte Brontë’s two years as an unpublished woman at a Belgian school–where she became close to her married tutor/employer, Monsieur Heger–with her friend and biographer Mrs. Gaskell’s struggle to salvage Charlotte’s posthumous reputation and feminist novels. A play about love, friendship, and the making–and unmaking–of art and identity. More at https://newplayexchange.org/plays/6097/charlottes-letters
