Join us for our first play reading of the 2023 Season, hosted by the Staunton Downtown Development Association and directed by Greg A. Beam.

WE HAVE ALWAYS LIVED IN THE CASTLE is a play by Hugh Wheeler, adapted from the novel by Shirley Jackson. The play is is a gothic horror piece revolving around a perverse, isolated, and possibly murderous family and their alienation from a hateful, suspicious New England village.
There are seven roles available for reading, so there are plenty of opportunities to join in the fun!

Bring a snack to share, beverages will be provided by the Oak Grove.
